I’m not impressed by how eager you are on day one. Anyone can show up excited, make promises, and tell me exactly what they think I want to hear. What catches my attention is what happens after the novelty wears off. Do you still show up? Do you communicate? Do you remember expectations without needing your hand held? Do your actions still match all that confidence you arrived with? I’d rather have steady effort than dramatic promises followed by silence. Attention from me isn’t something you secure once and keep forever. Give me a reason to notice you today, then give me another one tomorrow. Consistency is what separates someone passing through from someone worth keeping around. Show me you’re worth it.
