🕯️The Rule of the Altar🕯

Your wallet is an altar.

I say that often because I like what the metaphor means.

An altar is not a trash fire.

You do not simply throw everything you possess into it and call the destruction holy.

An altar is deliberate.

Prepared.

Tended.

Used with purpose.

Financial devotion should be treated the same way.

Luxuria Divina does not ask you to destroy your life to prove you can sacrifice.

Your responsibilities are not enemies of devotion.

They are what make devotion sustainable.

Pay what must be paid.

Save what must be saved.

Feed yourself.

Protect your stability.

Meet your obligations.

Then look at what remains and ask:

“What portion of My pleasure do I willingly dedicate to Hers?”

That is your offering.

Perhaps it is small.

Perhaps it is generous.

Perhaps some months it changes.

The amount matters less than whether it was chosen honestly.

Do not lie to Me about what you can afford.

Do not lie to yourself either.

Recklessness is not sacred merely because you did it while thinking about Me.

A good offering should leave you with satisfaction.

Not terror.

Not resentment.

Not a crisis tomorrow morning.

The altar should strengthen ritual.

Not destroy the worshipper.

So practice this:

Create a devotion budget.

Know the amount before desire becomes loud.

Keep it separate from rent, bills, food, savings, debt obligations, medical needs, and anyone who depends on you.

Then when you offer from it, do so without apology.

No:

“I'm sorry it's only…”

No:

“I wish I could do more.”

No theatrical shame.

If the offering is honest, intentional, and within your means, place it proudly.

Then perhaps one day, as your own life improves, the altar grows with you.

You earn more.

Save more.

Become more stable.

And discover that generosity becomes easier when discipline built the foundation beneath it.

That is financial submission worthy of Luxuria Divina.

Not chaos.

Intention.

Not self-destruction.

Choice.

Not giving because you cannot say no.

Giving because you knew exactly where the boundary was... and deliberately chose to kneel inside it.
