Paying Me Is the Easy Part

Aug 17, 2026 · 2 min read

Paying me is easy. You open an app. Pick a number. Hit send.

Congratulations. You successfully moved money from one account to another. Do you want a cookie or something?

Don't misunderstand me. I like being paid. I like opening my phone to find a tribute waiting for me. I like knowing you looked at money that belonged to you and decided it was better off as mine.

But the transaction itself isn't interesting. What it means is.

Did you send because you wanted my attention? Or because giving to me was something you genuinely wanted to do?

Did you remember something I said three weeks ago and quietly act on it?

Did you notice I was having a bad day and decide my coffee or my dinner should be your responsibility?

Did I give you an instruction and find out later that I never needed to remind you?

Are you still going to be here next week?

Because that gets my attention. Because financial submission isn't just transferring money. It's submission expressed through money.

And there is a difference.

If you're buying content from me, we're completing a transaction. You pay the price. You receive what you purchased. Simple.

A tribute is different.

My attention is not an item for purchase. You aren't buying fifteen minutes of conversation. You aren't depositing enough money into me until you've unlocked the level where I owe you affection.

You're giving something to me because giving it pleased you.

Maybe you hoped I'd notice. Maybe you hoped I'd smile. Maybe you simply liked knowing that something I wanted was now mine because of you.

Good. Because I probably did notice.

But what happens next is still mine to decide.

That's the part some people never quite understand. Money can get my attention. It cannot tell me what to do with it.

And frankly, if all you have to offer is money, eventually you're going to bore me.

I want the submissive who pays attention. The one who listens. The one who remembers.

The one who understands that consistency is more interesting than a grand entrance followed by silence.

The one who can be useful without requiring applause every time they manage it.

The one who sends because pleasing me is satisfying all by itself.

So yes, pay me. I certainly won't stop you.

Just don't make the mistake of thinking that's the difficult part.

Paying me is easy.

Becoming someone I want to keep around?

That takes a little more effort.
