The Titan's Voice

The Titan's voice it calls you
     and bids you serve again
And every tribute paid
     becomes a link within a chain
The chain it wraps around you
     and it makes it hard to stand
And so you kneel before her
     and submit to her command

The Titan does not bind you
     with shackles forged of steel
The way she clouds your mind
     will have you questioning what's real
She gently bends your thinking
     with every word she speaks
Until your every waking thought
     is hers alone to keep

The Titan does not worry
     as she knows you'll heed her call
For you were always destined
     to be here beneath her thrall
She doesn't need to chain you
     or force you to obey
For every choice you thought was yours
     has led you here today

The Titan need not chase you
     nor drag you to her door
For every step you take away
     just makes you crave her more
She smiles because she knows you'll find
     there's nowhere left to roam
For every road you wander down
     will only lead you home

The Titan takes your hand at last
     and bids your fears depart
The strongest chains she ever forged
     were fastened round your heart
No prison walls surround you now
     no lock, no chain, no key
For those who choose to wear her mark
     are finally set free
