I’ve never understood people who beg to be noticed.

Attention should be earned, not expected

I like pretty things, good manners, unnecessary indulgences, and people who understand that generosity is considerably more attractive than empty compliments.

You don’t need to know what I look like. Mystery has always been more interesting anyway.
I have expensive taste, unreasonable standards, and just enough curiosity to notice someone who knows how to behave.

I’m not interested in being everyone’s favorite. How terribly exhausting. I’d much rather be the one you find yourself thinking about later, wondering whether you managed to impress me...or merely convinced yourself that you did. Either way, adorable.

Perhaps that’s you.
