Why Submission Starts Before the Send 🖤
There’s something I find fascinating about findom that people who only see it from the outside often completely miss.
They think it’s about money.
I don’t.
Money is certainly part of the dynamic, but for me, the interesting part is everything that happens before someone ever opens their wallet.
It’s the hesitation. The anticipation. The little internal conversation where someone knows exactly what they want to do, but still wonders whether they should.
That moment tells me far more than the amount ever could.
I’ve always found the psychology behind submission fascinating. It isn’t simply about being told what to do. It’s about choosing to give someone else a certain amount of influence over you. There’s something incredibly personal about that decision.
And I think that’s why findom can feel so different from an ordinary financial transaction.
A payment can be completely meaningless when there’s no emotion behind it. But when someone has spent the day thinking about their dynamic, wondering whether Mommy will be pleased, deciding that they want to make a gesture, suddenly the money represents something much bigger.
It becomes communication.
It can say, “I’m thinking about you.”
It can say, “I want to make you smile.”
It can even say, “I like the feeling of letting go for a moment.”
That psychological side is what keeps me interested.
I also love the contrast between confidence and vulnerability. A person can be completely capable and independent in every other part of their life and still enjoy having somewhere they can surrender control. I don’t think those things contradict each other at all.
If anything, I think choosing when and where to surrender control can be incredibly powerful.
And as Mommy, I enjoy being on the other side of that choice.
Not because I need someone to prove themselves to me, but because I enjoy understanding what makes someone tick. I like noticing the little patterns, the personalities, the things they respond to, and the reasons they keep coming back to a dynamic that makes them feel something.
That’s the part of findom I find genuinely addictive.
The psychology.
The anticipation.
The relationship between control and choice.
The fact that something as ordinary as money can become a language between two people when the right dynamic exists.
So yes, I enjoy being spoiled.
Obviously. I’m Mommy Rosie 😂
But what really interests me is why someone wants to spoil me in the first place 🫦
That’s where things get interesting
