Living in Your Future 🚀
I know some of you in the US love to complain about the time difference.
“Oh, she’s 6 to 8 hours ahead, it’s so inconvenient, our schedules don’t align.”
Cry me a river. If you actually had a functioning brain, you’d realize that being behind me in time is the absolute greatest privilege you could ask for. Let me break down how this works, since basic logic seems to escape you.
While you are still fast asleep in your little bed, I am already awake, living my life, and running up your tab. The very first conscious thought you have in the morning shouldn’t be coffee—it should be checking your phone to see how much damage I caused while you were unconscious. Waking up to an empty bank account and an unread notification from me is the only proper morning routine for a real debtkeeper. Your day starts when my afternoon begins, meaning your entire day is already dictated by decisions I made hours before you opened your eyes.
Then comes your afternoon. While you’re miserable at work, dragging through your shift and staring at the clock, my day is already winding down. I’m relaxing, gaming, putting my feet up, and having a drink—and you get to fund every single second of my evening while you earn the money to pay for it. You work. I spend. The timeline literally enforces your role as a financial resource. By the time you clock out, you’re just in time to pay for my bedtime whim.
Being behind me means you are always playing catch-up. You are perpetually late, perpetually indebted, and perpetually living in my past while I dictate your future.
Stop viewing the ocean between us as an obstacle. It’s an automated schedule for your servitude. Send your morning tribute, clear whatever deficit accumulated overnight, and be grateful that even across time zones, you get to exist in my orbit. 💸⏳💅
