Attention is always earned 👑
I knew they were nervous the moment they walked through my door.
They tried to hide it, of course. Most people do.
I didn't ask them to sit. I simply looked at them and said, “Stand there.”
They obeyed.
That was the first thing I noticed.
The second was how quickly they started looking for approval.
I let the silence stretch.
“You came here because you wanted my attention,” I said. “But attention isn't something you automatically receive. It's something you earn.”
They nodded.
“Good. At least you can follow one simple instruction.”
I gave them a small task. They completed it carefully.
Then another. And this time, they rushed.
“Again.”
They hesitated.
I raised an eyebrow. “Did I say you were finished?”
“No, Goddess.”
“Then why did you stop?”
They immediately began again. I smiled.
That was when I knew they were beginning to understand the rules.
I wasn't interested in making things easy for them.
I wanted patience. Discipline. Consistency.
I wanted them to understand that my approval was a privilege, not an entitlement.
By the end of the evening, they were exhausted from trying to anticipate me.
I simply smiled and said:
“Now you understand why my attention has a price.”
