Can a Dominant be wrong?
Being a Dominant doesn't make you infallible. Having experience doesn't make you infallible. Having a title, a mentor, a reputation, or years in the lifestyle doesn't make you infallible either.
Dominants are still human. We can misunderstand something, misread a situation, make a poor decision, communicate badly, or simply get something wrong. What matters is what happens when you're wrong.
There's a difference between having authority and believing you are always right. A Dominant can be confident in their leadership while still being willing to listen, reconsider, accept feedback, and acknowledge when they made a mistake.
Being able to say "I was wrong" can demonstrate more strength than doubling down simply because you're the one in charge. Power exchange doesn't make accountability disappear.
If anything, being trusted with someone else's vulnerability, submission, or power should make accountability even more important. You don't lose your authority by admitting you made a mistake.
You don't become less Dominant because you listen to your submissive. You don't weaken your leadership by reconsidering a decision when you realize you could have handled something differently.
Being in charge doesn't mean you have to be right all the time. It means being responsible for what you do with the authority you've been given.
