Standards Are Expensive for a Reason

Aug 24, 2026 · 1 min read

I’ve never been impressed by noise. Anyone can demand attention. I’m far more interested in the person who knows how to give it properly.
I notice manners. I notice generosity. I notice whether you hesitate when you already know exactly what you want to do.
There’s a difference between showing up and making an impression. If you intend to be remembered here, learn it.

Money is part of it, obviously, but what interests me more is instinct. The ones I remember rarely need a long explanation. They pay attention, understand the atmosphere, and act accordingly. There’s something very attractive about someone who knows when to speak, when to listen, and when a gesture says more than another paragraph ever could. That kind of awareness tends to get noticed.

Expensive attention. Impeccable standards. Your wallet will learn both.
